UGH. It's not fun to play. I've been avoiding talking about it too. But being an alcoholic and knowing he's a fuckup in a lot of ways is where all the self-deprecation stems from. If he didn't drink, he'd just be like... an accomplished, gifted, super charismatic, popular 18 year old of above average attractiveness. In a band. Who is actually good at sports. On track to becoming an extremely famous and probably wealthy quantum physicist. DOES THAT SOUND LIKE JESSE? NO. He is a dumb drunk idiot. It's a major part of his character which I GUESS I should address if I MUST.
Maybe I'll save a splinching for Spring Break? Although I do need to have him go on some more senior project related trips, so maybe he'll splinch even sooner. IDK! And everyone will be like, "Oooomigod, what happened?! He seemed totally fine!!" and Quinn will be like, "He always seems fine!! BUT HE'S NOT FINE!!! He is tipsy 80% of his life."
Background wise: YES! That makes a lot of sense. And makes their weird relationship even more emo and intense. I should have made you watch Two Night Stand instead.
